Join Sir Billi (Connery), a respected veterinarian – who also has a thirst for thrill rides on his trusty skateboard – as he watches over his beloved Highland home. Residing in a landscape of unparalleled beauty, breathtaking scenery and hidden secrets, Sir Billi and his hilarious sidekick Gordan the Goat (Cumming) work against evils that threaten the future of the area’s wildlife. Now, Sir Billi faces his biggest adventure yet as he unites the local people to save Bessie Boo – the last beaver in Scotland.
Written by Tessa Hartmann and directed by Sascha Hartmann, Guardian Of The Highlands is set to a soundtrack by Academy Award® nominee Patrick Doyle (Brave, Sense and Sensibility) and includes a theme song voiced by the legendary Shirley Bassey, who also voiced the theme songs to two of Connery’s previous films, Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever.
When the last beaver in Scotland’s life is in danger, Sir Billi and his animal friends go on a roller coaster adventure in a race to save Bessie Boo the beaver. A raging river, a Russian submarine and an obsessed Animal Control officer threaten to foil Sir Billi’s attempts to save Bessie. But with the help of the whole town, Sir Billi just might save the day and prove that he really is the Guardian of the Highlands.
